(5) "SCHOOL" MEANS A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ELEMENTARY OR
SECONDARY INSTITUTION OF EDUCATION.

(C)     THE Board of License Commissioners may not approve any license to sell
alcoholic beverages within a 500 foot measurement from the [nearest point] MAIN
ENTRANCE of the building that is the proposed establishment for which the license is
requested to the [nearest point of the property line] MAIN ENTRANCE of a school or of
a church or other place of worship.

(D)     A LICENSEE PERSON MAY REAPPLY FOR A LICENSE WITHIN 6 MONTHS
FOLLOWING THE TERMINATION OF A LICENSE AT AN EXISTING LOCATION THAT
FALLS WITHIN THE RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED BY SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS SECTION.

[(b)](E) This section does not apply to [the]:

(1)      THE issuance of special or temporary licenses; OR

(2)      THE DOWNTOWN PLAZA.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Registration and Inspection - Vehicle Transfers Due to Corporate

Reorganization

FOR the purpose of authorizing the transferee of a vehicle that is transferred as a result
of a corporate reorganization to continue to use the same registration plates that
were assigned to the vehicle prior to the transfer; exempting vehicles transferred as
a result of a corporate reorganization from certain inspection requirements;
providing for the retroactive application of this Act; making this Act an emergency
measure; and generally relating to registration and inspection requirements for
vehicles transferred as a result of a corporate reorganization.
