(7)     Monitor statewide progress towards the goal of reducing adolescent
pregnancy;

(8)     Promote and encourage wide community input, communication, and
education regarding adolescent pregnancy;

(9)     Provide advice to local public and private agencies seeking to mobilize
local efforts designed to prevent adolescent pregnancies and assist adolescent parents;
and

(10)   In accordance with the statewide plan, recommend to the Governor
distribution of community incentive grants concerning adolescent pregnancy from funds
provided in the State budget for this purpose, giving priority to innovative projects that:

(i) Promote the establishment of a coordinated network of services for
at-risk, pregnant, and parenting adolescents; and

(ii) Demonstrate a high level of commitment to the project by making
available nonstate funds, personnel, and facilities.

Article - Environment

3-304.

(a) The Committee shall:

(1)     Receive reports of progress, problems, and proposed plans for attaining
and maintaining State environmental noise standards from each agency that is
represented on the Committee;

(2)     Evaluate the adequacy of existing and proposed efforts to attain and
maintain State environmental noise standards;

(3)     Review the relationship of State noise control rules and regulations with
other environmental laws, rules, regulations, standards, and programs; and

(4)     Recommend new or revised noise control rules, regulations, or
legislation.

6-608.

(a) The Secretary shall refer to the Advisory Council for advice on each
significant issue that involves lead poisoning.

(c) The secretaries of the other departments represented under § 6-604 of this
subtitle shall inform the Advisory Council of the activities of their departments at each
regularly scheduled meeting of the Advisory Council.

9-1504.

(a)     The Department shall adopt rules and regulations to carry out the provisions
of this subtitle.

(b)     The Department shall enforce this subtitle.
