Ch. 333                                     1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND

"IF THE MOBILE HOME YOU ARE PURCHASING IS TO BE
PLACED IN A MOBILE HOME PARK, THE PARK MAY HAVE
RULES AND LEASE PROVISIONS THAT AFFECT YOU AND YOUR
HOME.

YOU SHOULD CONTACT THE PARK OFFICE TO OBTAIN AND
CAREFULLY REVIEW A COPY OF THE LEASE AND RULES FOR
THE PARK BEFORE YOU ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO
PURCHASE A MOBILE HOME.

DUE TO LAND USE RESTRICTIONS IN MANY AREAS IN THIS
STATE, A MOBILE HOME MAY ONLY BE PLACED ON PROPERTY
THAT IS WITHIN A MOBILE HOME PARK."

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

CHAPTER 333
(House Bill 869)

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Social Work Examiners

FOR the purpose of continuing the State regulation of the practice of social work;
extending until July 1, 2004 the State Board of Social Work Examiners; altering the
composition of the Board; altering the nomination process for social worker
members of the Board; altering the qualification requirements for certain social
worker members of the Board; authorizing certain applicants for certain licenses to
be examined for that license under certain circumstances; specifying that a licensed
social work associate may not make a certain diagnosis or do psychotherapy;
specifying that the Board may not authorize certain licensed social work associates
to engage in the private practice of social work without certain supervision;
authorizing the social worker rehabilitation committee to be a committee of with
representatives from the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Social
Workers and the Metropolitan Washington Chapter of the National Association of
Social Workers, Inc.; prohibiting a social worker from charging a client or receiving
remuneration for social work services unless the social worker provides the client
with a certain professional disclosure statement or the professional disclosure
statement is displayed in a conspicuous location at the place where the services ar
e
performed; and generally relating to social workers and the State Board of Social
Work Examiners.
