SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County - Alcoholic Beverages - Rockville Town Center Mixed Use District

Additional Licenses

MC 304-93

FOR the purpose of permitting in Montgomery County the issuance of a certain
additional Class B license for use in a restaurant if, among other things, the
restaurant is located in the Rockville Town Center Mixed Use District or in certain
retail malls; and providing for a limited number of exemptions.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a-2)(l) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, in Montgomery
County the holder of a Class B (on-sale - hotels and restaurants) beer, wine and liquor
license under this article, by making application in the regular manner and paying the
usual fee, may obtain the additional Class B (on-sale - hotels and restaurants) beer, wine
and liquor licenses authorized by this subsection.
