WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 311 Section 11-301 Annotated Code of Maryland (1990 Replacement Volume and 1992 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Annotated Code of Maryland SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions 11-301. (a) This section applies only to Carroll and Washington Counties. (b) In this section, the following words have the meanings indicated. (1) "Transient or temporary vendors" means all persons, partnerships, (i) Engage in a business for the purpose of selling or soliciting orders (ii) Are located in 1 location or travel from place to place; (iii) Have the intent to continue this business in Washington County or (iv) For the purpose of conducting this business, rent, use, or occupy 1. Buildings, including: A. Rooms or halls in motels, hotels, or other lodging houses; or B. Public auditoriums, facilities, or civic centers; 2. Any lots or parcels of land including: A. Streets; B. Alleys; C. Roads; or D. Parks; or 3. Motor or nonmotorized vehicles of any type including: - 1823 -
