Article - Family Law

11-111.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 48A, § 490H of the Code, the court
may, EITHER AFTER A DIVORCE IS GRANTED OR PENDENTE LITE, allocate between
the parties any additional costs of providing hospital, medical, or surgical benefits under
a group contract OR REQUIRE CONTINUATION OR REINSTATEMENT OF SUCH
BENEFITS.                                               

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993, and shall be applicable to an action for divorce filed on or after October
1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Harford County - Casting of Artificial Rays from a Vehicle at Nighttime - Prohibition

FOR the purpose of prohibiting the casting of artificial rays from a vehicle on certain
locations or certain wildlife for certain purposes during certain nighttime hours in
Harford County; and making a certain technical correction.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article - Natural Resources
Section 10-410(e)(2)(i) and (ii)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1990 Replacement Volume and 1992 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

10-410.

(e) (2) (i) In Baltimore City and [Harford,] Montgomery[,] and Prince
George's Counties only, a person may cast the rays of an artificial light from a vehicle on
woods, fields, orchards, livestock, wild animals, or wild birds for the sole purpose of
observing or photographing wildlife until 9:00 p.m.

(ii) If a person casts the rays of any artificial light under this [paragraph]
PARAGRAPH, the person has the burden of establishing that the person was doing so for
the purposes of observing or photographing wildlife.
