This subsection is amended so that all jurisdictions with provisions which permit
wine with an alcohol content other than 14 percent by volume can be found in one
location, new § 12 of this article.

(g) (1) A Class 6 pub-brewery license shall be issued:

(i) By the State Comptroller; and

(ii) Only to a holder of a Class B beer, wine and liquor (on-sale)
license that is issued for use on the premises of a restaurant [located in Anne Arundel
County, the City of Annapolis, Baltimore City, Frederick County, Harford County,
Washington County, Worcester County, or the City of Gaithersburg in Montgomery
County].

(III) ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING JURISDICTIONS:

1.        ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY;

2.       ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY - CITY OF ANNAPOLIS;

3.       BALTIMORE CITY;

4.        HARFORD COUNTY;

5.        MONTGOMERY COUNTY - CITY OF GAITHERSBURG; AND

6.       WORCESTER COUNTY.

This subsection is revised to make it clear to which jurisdictions the law applies.

(a)     A Class A beer license shall be issued by the clerk of the circuit court of the
county in which the place of business is located, [and shall authorize the] THE holder
[thereof to] OF THE LICENSE MAY keep for sale and sell beer at retail[,] in any
quantity to any consumers at the place [therein] described IN THE LICENSE. [, and to]
THE HOLDER SHALL deliver the [same] BEER in a sealed package or container, which

premises where sold. The annual fee for the license [shall be $25 and] shall be
[payable] PAID to the clerk before any license [be] IS issued, for distribution as
[hereinafter] provided.

(b)     (1) In Allegany County the annual fee [for such a license] is $75.

(2) The package or container [shall] MAY not be opened nor its contents
consumed on any premises in which the licensee [shall have] HAS any direct or indirect
interest.
