(3)      [(i) 19.25 cents for each gallon of special fuel other than turbine fuel;

(ii) as of January 1, 1993, 21.75 cents for each gallon of special fuel;
other than turbine fuel; and

(iii) as of July 1, 1993,] 24.25 cents for each gallon of special fuel other
than ALTERNATIVE FUEL CLEAN-BURNING FUEL OR turbine fuel; [and]

(4)     7 cents for each gallon of turbine fuel; AND

(5)      23.5 CENTS FOR EACH GASOLINE-EQUIVALENT GALLON OF
ALTERNATIVE FUEL CLEAN-BURNING FUEL EXCEPT ELECTRICITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Municipal Corporations - Infractions

FOR the purpose of altering certain provisions of the municipal infractions law to remove
a certain criminal burden of proof provide a standard of proof by clear and convincing
evidence; altering the maximum fee fine that may be imposed for a municipal
infraction; specifying the procedures for the service of a citation for a municipal
infraction; permitting a court summons to be served with a citation for a municipal
infraction under certain circumstances; establishing a procedure for a municipality
to collect costs for the abatement of a municipal infraction under certain
circumstances; permitting a court to enter certain judgments for the failure to pay a
fine or to appear in court under certain circumstances; imposing certain
requirements on a municipality when a citation is issued for a person's failure to
comply with the decision or order of an administrative agency of the municipality;
requiring an appeal from a District Court decision in a municipal infraction
proceeding to be on the record; making stylistic changes; and generally relating to
municipal infractions.
