(3)     An Orphans' Court judge in Somerset[, Wicomico,] and Worcester
Counties is eligible for a pension under this subsection only if he is in office on or before
July 1, 1979.

(4)     IN WICOMICO COUNTY, AN ORPHANS' COURT JUDGE WHO HAS
COMPLETED AT LEAST 12 YEARS IN OFFICE IS ELIGIBLE FOR A PENSION UNDER THIS
SUBSECTION.

[(4)] (5) The pension or salary may be suspended during any month the
judge is a full-time employee of any county or of this State.

[(5)] (6) Notwithstanding any provision of this section an Orphans' Court
judge may not receive a pension under this section if he is receiving any other State
pension.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Pensions - Eligible Rollover Distributions

FOR the purpose of authorizing certain participants in the Maryland State Retirement
and Pension Systems to elect, on or after a certain date, to have certain eligible
rollover distributions to be made in a certain manner; authorizing the Board of
Trustees to adopt certain regulations; defining certain terms; requiring the Board of
Trustees to provide certain written notices; and generally relating to eligible
rollover distributions for participants in the Maryland State Retirement and
Pension Systems.

Section 1-601 through 1-603 1-604, inclusive, to be under the new subtitle

"Subtitle 6. Eligible Rollover Distributions"
