(K) IF A DEFENDANT IS CHARGED WITH STALKING UNDER § 121B OF THIS
ARTICLE AND IS RELEASED PRETRIAL, THE COURT OR DISTRICT COURT
COMMISSIONER SHALL CONSIDER INCLUDING AS A CONDITION OF RELEASE
REASONABLE PROTECTIONS FOR THE SAFETY OF THE ALLEGED VICTIM.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Education - Use of Corporal Punishment in the Public Schools

FOR the purpose of eliminating the exemption for certain counties from the prohibition
against the use of corporal punishment in the public schools in the State and from
the requirement to adopt certain regulations; and generally relating to order and
discipline within the public schools of the State.

(i) Caroline County;
(ii) Carroll County;
(iii) Cecil County;
(iv) Dorchester County;
(v) Frederick County;
(vi) Harford County;
