AN ACT concerning

Calvert County - Open Space Preservation - Authority to Establish Special Fund

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of Calvert County to
establish a nonlapsing, revolving special loan fund for making loans to certain
nonprofit land trusts for a certain purpose; limiting the maximum balance of the
fund; authorizing the County Commissioners to accept contributions for the fund;
providing that money in the fund may be invested as other County revenues;
authorizing the County Commissioners to adopt certain regulations; amending a
certain title and subtitle designation; and generally relating to authorization for a
certain loan fund in order to assist land trusts to preserve open space in Calvert
County.

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of Calvert County

Section 12-201 and the new subtitle "Subtitle 2. Open Space Trust Fund" to be

under the amended title "Title 12. Land Preservation Programs"
Article 5 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1986 Edition and July, 1991 Supplement, as amended)

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Calvert County

Subtitle designation "Subtitle 1. General Provisions" to be "Subtitle 1. Agricultural
Land Preservation Program" immediately preceding Section 12-101
