shall be Maryland's cognizant State agency for the Delmarva Advisory Council and
transferring certain responsibilities from DHCP to DEED; altering certain provisions
relating to the funding of the Delmarva Advisory Council; removing the Attorney
General as legal advisor for the Councils; requiring the Councils to seek and retain
legal counsel; and generally relating to the Tri-County Councils of for Southern
Maryland and Western Maryland and the Delmarva Advisory Council.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Article 20 - Tri-County Council of Southern Maryland of the
Annotated Code of Maryland be renamed to be Article 20 - Tri-County Council for
Southern Maryland.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Article
20A - Tri-County Council of Western Maryland of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
renamed to be Article 20A - Tri-County Council for Western Maryland.
