Section 2-8-6(e)(3)

Article. 11 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition and November, 1992 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 11 - Frederick County

2-8-6.

(e) (3) The board of county commissioners may appropriate from the proceeds
of the special district tax, and from other sources, funds to be used within the district for:

(i) Compensating fire and rescue personnel;

(ii) Training personnel involved in fire and rescue services, including
volunteers;

(iii) Purchasing:

1.       Fire and rescue equipment; or

2.       Real property to be used for fire and rescue services; [and]

(iv) Constructing fire and rescue service buildings; AND

(V) MAKING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO FIRE AND RESCUE
SERVICE FACILITIES.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County - Pretrial Release Program

FOR the purpose of requiring the Sheriff of Frederick County to establish a Pretrial
Release Program; authorizing the Sheriff to adopt regulations to administer the
Program; authorizing a judge in Frederick County to require that certain individuals
participate in the Program; establishing eligibility criteria for participation in the
Program; and generally relating to the creation of a Pretrial Release Program in
Frederick County.
