SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Joint Budget and Audit Committee - Evaluation of Federal Aid

FOR the purpose of specifying that reports evaluating federal aid shall be sent by each
unit of State government to the budget committees of the General Assembly Budget
and Taxation Committee of the Maryland Senate and the Appropriations
Committee of the Maryland House of Delegates, rather than to the Joint Budget
and Audit Committee; and altering the powers and duties of the Joint Committee
with regard to the evaluation of federal aid.
