(2) A temporary license issued to an occupational therapy assistant
authorizes the holder to practice limited occupational therapy only under the supervision
of an occupational therapist who is authorized to practice in this State.

(c)     A temporary license expires on the date when the results of the first
examination that the holder was eligible to take are made public.

(d)     The Board may not issue more than [one] TWO temporary [license]
LICENSES to an individual.

(e)     The Board may not renew a temporary license.

10-502.

Subject to the evaluation and reestablishment provisions of the Program Evaluation Act,
this title and all rules and regulations adopted under this title shall terminate and be of no
effect after July 1, [19941 2004.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That each term of the current
members of the State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice shall be extended by one
year. The terms of the two additional members provided for in Section 1 of this Act shall
expire as follows:

(1)     one member in 1995; and

(2)     one member in 1996.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners

FOR the purpose of altering certain definitions relating to physical therapy; altering the
criteria by which a certain examination requirement may be waived; requiring a
licensee to display a license in a certain manner; making certain exceptions;
requiring certain licensees to present renewal cards under certain circumstances;
requiring certain notices to be displayed under certain circumstances; and requiring
a licensee to give notice of a change of address to the State Board of Physical
Therapy Examiners; clarifying the title of the Board administrator; altering the
conditions for reinstatement; clarifying requirements of licensees; altering penalties
for certain violations; and generally relating to the State Board of Physical Therapy
Examiners and licensing of physical therapists.
