Section 1(3)(L)

(1)    St. Mary's City Commission (St. Mary's County):

(A)    Design and construct renovation for adaptive reuse of
Brome/Howard House .......................................................................

(B)    PROVIDE A PORTION OF THE FUNDS TO DESIGN AND
CONSTRUCT MUSEUM AND PARK IMPROVEMENTS AND
EXHIBITS, RELOCATE STRUCTURES, PURCHASE CAPITAL
EQUIPMENT,         AND         CONDUCT         PRECONSTRUCTION
ARCHAEOLOGICAL SURVEYS AND MITIGATION AT HISTORIC
ST. MARY'S CITY, PROVIDED THAT THIS APPROPRIATION MAY
NOT BE EXPENDED UNTIL:

(1)    THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND FISCAL PLANNING
HAS APPROVED PROGRAM PLANS FOR EACH PROJECT
INCLUDED IN THE FY 1994 ALLOWANCE AUTHORIZATION;

(2)    THE DEPARTMENT SUBMITS DETAILED COST ESTIMATE
WORKSHEETS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL
SERVICES FOR EACH PROJECT;

(3)    THE BUDGET COMMITTEES HAVE RECEIVED AND
COMMENTED UPON THE REPORT (PLANS AND COST
ESTIMATES), OR 45 DAYS HAVE ELAPSED FROM THE DATE THE
REPORT IS RECEIVED BY THE COMMITTEES................................

(a) Headquarters:

(2)     Purchase capital equipment for 1500-cell medium-security
correctional facility (Somerset County). THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS
IN THIS APPROPRIATION NOT ENCUMBERED FOR THE
PURPOSES IDENTIFIED ABOVE AS OF JUNE 1, 1993 SHALL BE
USED TO PROVIDE A PORTION OF THE FUNDS TO DESIGN AND

CONSTRUCT A NEW MEDIUM SECURITY CORRECTIONAL
FACILITY (ALLEGANY COUNTY).....................................................
