AN ACT concerning

Limited Extrajurisdictional Authority for Police Officers

FOR the purpose of authorizing certain police officers to make warrantless arrests
outside the officers' jurisdictions for certain crimes, under certain circumstances,
and conduct investigations without limitations to jurisdiction;, under certain
circumstances, to make certain arrests, enforce certain laws, and conduct certain
investigations without limitations as to jurisdiction; imposing certain notice
requirements; providing that a police officer who acts under the authority granted
by the Act has certain immunities and is entitled to certain exemptions; providing
that certain regulations adopted under this Act are not subject to certain provisions
of the Administrative Procedure Act to make warrantless arrests outside the officers'
jurisdictions for certain crimes, under certain circumstances, and conduct investigations
without limitations to jurisdiction; defining certain terms; and generally relating to
police officers' authority to act outside of their jurisdictions.
