(2) TO THE APPLICABLE PENSION FUNDS CREATED BY THIS TITLE;
(3) TO THE HOST RACING ASSOCIATION WHERE LIVE RACING IS
CONDUCTED IN AN AMOUNT DETERMINED BY THE LICENSEE AND THE
OUT-OF-STATE FACILITY; AND
(4) THE REMAINDER TO THE LICENSEE, PURSE MONEY, AND THE
APPLICABLE BRED FUND IN PROPORTION TO THEIR RESPECTIVE SHARES OF THE
TAKEOUT UNDER THIS TITLE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety, has
been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to-
each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is
enacted.

AN ACT concerning
Annual Curative Bill
FOR the purpose of generally curing previous Acts of the General Assembly enacted with
possible title or other defects; prohibiting a Prince George's County Board of
Alcoholic Beverages License Commissioner from serving in any other position of
public office; expanding the prohibition against lending or giving money for
pari-mutuel betting to encompass all entities licensed to hold horse racing;
authorizing the Securities Commissioner to bring an action seeking to freeze the
assets of certain persons under certain circumstances; abolishing the Division of
Budget Review and the Division of Fiscal Research in the Department of Fiscal
Services; repealing certain requirements that certain units of State government
submit certain reports to the General Assembly, the Governor, and other State
officials and units of State government; making certain technical corrections to the
Annual Corrective Bill of 1993; providing for the effect and construction of certain
provisions of this Act; making this Act an emergency measure; and generally
repealing and reenacting without amendments certain Acts of the General
Assembly that may be subject to possible title or function paragraph or other
defects, in order to validate those Acts.
