Ch. 5                                           LAWS OF MARYLAND

On and after May 1, 1966, any new application for a beer,
wine and liquor license, Class B may not be granted by the board,
and any transfer from one location to another location by the
same license holder, and any transfer from one license holder to
another at the same location, or from one license holder to
another at a different location, may not be approved unless the
establishment where it is proposed to locate or transfer the
license meets the standards contained in this section.

(c) (2) If a holder of an existing hotel or restaurant
Class B beer, wine and liquor license provides catering services
on or off the licensed premises, the holder is subject to the
requirements of [paragraph] SUBSECTION (b)(3) of this section.

(d-2) (4) In Cecil County, the clerk of the court, upon
approval of the board, may grant special licenses of any class,
except manufacturer's and wholesaler's, which entitle the holder
to exercise any of the privileges conferred by the respective
classes of licenses at any bona fide entertainment held or
conducted by any Cecil County fire department. The license shall
be in the form prescribed by the board, and the applicant shall
sign the license. The fee is $120 per year for any beer or beer
and light wine license, or $240 per year for any beer, wine and
liquor license. The fee shall be paid before a license is
issued. This special license may not be granted to any fire
department more than one time in any year. The total number of
days authorized by this special license may not exceed 12 in any
calendar year. The notice and hearing provisions, as required in
PARAGRAPH (2) of this subsection, shall only apply the first time
any fire department applies for this license; thereafter, this
license shall be issued upon approval by the board of license
commissioners.
