Subsection (b)(2) and (3) of this section is new

language added merely as a convenient cross-reference

to the exceptions to the licensing requirement in
former Art. 56, § 344(2).

In subsection (a)(1) of this section, the reference to
being "licensed" is substituted for the former
reference to being "registered" to conform to the
terminology used throughout this article. See the
General Revisor's Note to this article.

15-302. RESTRICTIONS ON ISSUANCE OF PROPERTY LINE SURVEYOR
LICENSES.

(A)  ISSUANCE RESTRICTIONS.

ON AND AFTER JULY 1, 1990, THE BOARD MAY NOT ISSUE A LICENSE
TO PRACTICE PROPERTY LINE SURVEYING.

(B)  RENEWAL.

NOTWITHSTANDING SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION, AN
INDIVIDUAL WHO IS LICENSED AS A PROPERTY LINE SURVEYOR AS OF JUNE
30, 1990, MAY CONTINUE TO RENEW THE LICENSE AS PROVIDED UNDER §
15-314 OF THIS SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 56, §§
335(d)(2) and 336(b)(2).

In subsections (a) and (b) of this section, the
defined term "license" and the word "licensed" are
substituted for the former references to "register",
"registered", and "registration" to conform to changes
in terminology made throughout this article. See the
General Revisor's Note to this article.

In subsection (b) of this section, the phrase "as of
June 30, 1990" is substituted for the former phrase
"before July 1, 1990", for clarity.
