Commission.

WHEREAS, the Wicomico County Council deems it advisable to
create a Commission to supervise the promotion of entertainment,
sporting, commercial and other events at the Wicomico County
Youth and Civic Center pursuant to the authority vested in it by
Chapter 22, Section 5 of the Wicomico County Code:

BILL 5 - 1988

AN ACT to amend Chapter 97 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "URBAN SERVICE DISTRICTS", by repealing and reenacting
with amendments Section 3 thereof, titled "Districts
established," Subsection "A" thereof, titled "Districts";

WHEREAS, the Maryland Department of Mental Hygiene has
adopted regulations as set forth in Title 10, Subtitle 17,
Chapter 15 of the Code of Maryland Regulations, said Chapter
being titled "Shared Facilities"; and

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid Section
of the Wicomico County Code to incorporate and allow for the
provision of "Shared Facilities" under the provision for Urban
Services, which may be provided by Wicomico County:

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code
titled "Zoning" by restating and amending Article I, Subsection
225-3, titled "Definitions and word usage."

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid Section
of the Wicomico County Code, upon the favorable recommendation of
the Wicomico County Planning and Zoning Commission, with regard
to establishing new definitions and revising existing terms for
clarification purposes.
