AN ACT concerning

Cable Television Commission Special Purpose Fund

FOR the purpose of amending the uses of the Cable Television
Commission Fund to be consistent with the removal of restrictions
pursuant to the Cable Communications Policy Act of 1984; and
appropriating to the Cable Television Commission an amount of
$185,000 from unappropriated and undesignated Cable Television
Commission Fund retained earnings for the purchase of equipment
for cable related operations, the expansion of efforts to
encourage film and media production in the County, and hiring a
consultant for recommendations on franchise implementation.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

AN ACT concerning

The Cable Television Commission Fund

FOR the purpose of authorizing use of the Cable Television
Commission Fund to facilitate the delivery of cable service to
senior citizens who reside in multifamily dwellings, and
expressly authorizing the Cable Television Commission to
promulgate regulations to accomplish this purpose.
