AN ORDINANCE concerning

Mobile Home Parks - Suppliers of Recurring Services

FOR the purpose of repealing a certain provision concerning
suppliers of recurring services to tenants of mobile home parks.

BY repealing

Article 23

Section 2-114

Anne Arundel County Code (1985, as amended)

WHEREAS, § 8A-501 of the Annotated Code of Maryland provides
that the owner of a mobile home park may not restrict the
supplier of any product or service that the park owner does not
supply to all residents in the park except as directly related to
the safety of the residents; and

WHEREAS, Article 23, § 2-114 of the Anne Arundel County Code
is in conflict with the Annotated Code of Maryland in that it
permits the landlord of a mobile home park to designate a minimum
of three independent suppliers to provide recurring services;
now, therefore,

circumstances; providing for the issuance of a stop work order
and for liability for a certain civil penalty under certain

cable television ordinance; and generally relative to cable
television.
