CHARTER RESOLUTION NO. 88-2

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the City of Taneytown
adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 3 ("Home Rule") of
Article XI-E ("Municipal Corporations") of the Constitution of
Maryland and of Section 13 (under subtitle "Home Rule") of
Article 23A ("Corporations-Municipal") of the Annotated Code of
Maryland to amend the Charter of the City of Taneytown (1978
Edition) by amending Section 210 entitled "Ordinances" to provide
for veto powers by the Mayor.

amendments.

Maryland and of Section 13 (under subtitle "Home Rule") of
Article 23A ("Corporations-Municipal") of the Annotated Code of
Maryland to amend the Charter of the City of Taneytown (1978
Edition) by adding Section 808 entitled "Employee Vacations and
Holidays" to provide for vacations and leave time for City
employees.
