REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as Art. 56A,
§ 3-308.
In subsection (c)(2) of this section, the references
to fees of $75, $30, and $15 are substituted for the
former references to $50, $20 and $15, respectively,
to give effect to changes made to former Art. 56, §§
450 and 453(b) by Ch. 28, Acts of 1988. Section 2 of
Ch. 28 specifically directed the publishers of the
Annotated Code to incorporate similar changes in fees
for real estate brokers into the relevant provisions
of Art. 56A but did not contain a comparable directive
for plumbers. Nonetheless, it seemed to be the intent
of the General Assembly that the changes in renewal
fees for master, journey, or apprentice plumber
licenses and limited licenses be effective beyond
October 1, 1988, when the relevant provisions amended
by Ch. 28 -- i.e., former Art. 56, §§ 450 and 453(b)
-- were repealed by Ch. 647, Acts of 1988, and
replaced by, inter alia, former Art. 56A, § 3-308.
Accordingly, the changes are incorporated into this
section. As to the period from October 1, 1988,
