House Bill No. 124

AN ACT concerning

Workers' Compensation - Uninsured Employers' Fund -
Collection of Debts

FOR the purpose of requiring the Uninsured Employers' Fund to use
the Central Collection Unit of the Department of Budget and
Fiscal Planning to collect any unpaid assessment, award, or
other expense incurred by the Fund on behalf of an employer
that does not have workers' compensation insurance coverage;
permitting the Fund, under certain circumstances, to employ
attorneys in private practice certain persons to collect
these assessments, awards, or other expenses; providing for
certain compensations; modifying the responsibilities of the
Central Collection Unit; and generally relating to the
Uninsured Employers' Fund.
