WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

This bill requires a person who engages in the business of radon
testing to have all tests analyzed by a facility listed in the
EPA National Radon Proficiency Program.

House Bill 1367, which was passed by the General Assembly and
signed by me on May 19, 1989, accomplishes the same purpose.
Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign Senate Bill 524.

Sincerely,

William Donald Schaefer

Governor

Senate Bill No. 524

after completion of a certain National Program a person who
engages in the business of testing for indoor radon shall
have all tests analyzed by a certain facility; amending a
certain definition; making this Act an emergency measure;
and generally relating to radon testing requirements.
