AN ACT concerning

Aquaculture - Oyster Seed Areas

FOR the purpose of allowing the Department of Natural Resources
to establish certain oyster seed areas for certain
aquaculture purposes; providing for the production and sale
of seed oysters that are derived from those oyster seed
areas; authorizing the Department to adopt certain
regulations; providing for the disposition of funds derived
from the sale of certain seed oysters for certain purposes;
requiring the Department to maintain certain records, limit
expenditures to establish and maintain seed areas, and
consult with certain county committees; prohibiting the
establishment of seed areas in certain counties; and
generally relating to the production of seed oysters from
aquaculture activities in oyster seed areas.
