AN ACT concerning

Public Parkland and Recreational Areas -

Matthew Henson State Park

MC 909-89

FOR the purpose of establishing certain land in Montgomery County
as the Matthew Henson State Park; designating, holding, and
managing the land under this Act as a State Park;
authorizing the Department of Natural Resources to adopt
regulations concerning the Matthew Henson State Park;
providing for the land designated under this Act to be
subject to certain laws; providing that the provisions of
this Act prevail over certain other State laws; providing
that part of the land under this Act may be used for
transportation purposes in certain circumstances; and
generally relating to the establishment, designation,
holding, management, and use of the Matthew Henson State
Park.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 5-1004, 5-1005, 5-1006, and 5-1007,
respectively, of Article - Natural Resources of the Annotated
Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 5-1005, 5-1006,
5-1007, and 5-1008, respectively.
