THAN $1,000 OR IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN 1 YEAR 90 DAYS OR
BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

(House Bill 783)

AN ACT concerning

Oil and Petroleum Products - Regulation and Enforcement

FOR the purpose of deleting certain definitions and defining
certain terms; altering when the collection of license fees
for transferring oil is to be abated; altering when license
fees for transferring oil may be collected after abatement;
permitting the Department of the Environment to enter an oil
storage facility at certain times to perform certain acts;
permitting the Department to enter property and assume
control of an oil spill under certain circumstances;
authorizing the Secretary to take certain other action if
certain entry is denied; making certain technical
corrections; and generally relating to the regulation of oil
and petroleum products.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
