Ch. 802                                       LAWS OF MARYLAND

(C) ON REASONABLE SUSPICION OF OPEN AIR BURNING ON
PRIVATELY OWNED PROPERTY IN AN AREA IN WHICH A BURNING BAN IS IN
EFFECT, A PUBLIC OFFICER MAY ENTER ON THE PRIVATELY OWNED
PROPERTY OF ANY PERSON TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE OR TO ENFORCE THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Credit Unions - Articles of Incorporation - Amendments

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Financial Institutions

Section 6-211, 6-222, and 6-223

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1986 Replacement Volume and 1988 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Financial Institutions

6-211.

FOR the purpose of permitting the members of a credit union to
amend the articles of incorporation at any meeting of the
members; specifying certain conditions under which the
articles of incorporation may be amended by the members;
specifying when an amendment to the articles of
incorporation becomes effective; permitting the board of
directors of a credit union to authorize an amendment to the
articles of incorporation to be voted on by mail ballot;
specifying certain conditions and procedures under which an
amendment to the articles of incorporation by mail ballot
may be made; and generally relating to the amendment of the
articles of incorporation of a credit union by the members
of that credit union.
