(E)  THE COMMISSION MAY ADOPT REGULATION TO CARRY OUT THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION.

(F)  THE COMMISSION SHALL, AS PROVIDED FOR IN THE BUDGET,
PROVIDE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF THE VETERANS' MEMORIALS AND
MONUMENTS AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION.

(G)  THE COMMISSION MAY ACQUIRE, HOLD, USE, AND IMPROVE, AND
CONVEY PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSES SPECIFIED IN SUBSECTION (C) OF
THIS SECTION.

(H) SUBJECT TO TITLE 7 OF THE STATE FINANCE AND PROCUREMENT
ARTICLE, THE COMMISSION MAY:

(1)  ACCEPT GIFTS OR GRANTS;

(2)  UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED, SPEND THE PRINCIPAL
AND INCOME OF A GIFT OR GRANT; AND

(3)  INVEST ALL OR PART OF THE PRINCIPAL INCOME IN
GENERAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE STATE OR ANY OTHER SECURITY.

(I) ANY SPENDING BY THE COMMISSION AUTHORIZED UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE BUDGET
PROCESS, AND APPROVAL BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Property Tax - Credit - Day Care Centers

FOR the purpose of repealing certain restrictions on a property
tax credit for certain day care centers that may be granted
by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City or the
governing body of a county or municipal corporation;
clarifying the types of day care centers that are eligible
for the property tax credit; clarifying which portion of
real property is eligible for the credit; prohibiting the
granting of a credit under this Act if the real property
qualifies for a certain other property tax credit; repealing
a certain definition; and generally relating to the
