Ch. 758

(3)  TO SOLICIT PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS AND DEVELOP
STRATEGIES FOR ADDITIONAL PRIVATE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE FUNDS;
FUND; AND

(4)  TO MONITOR THE USE OF MONEYS GRANTED FROM THE
FUND; AND

(5) TO REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR AND, SUBJECT TO §
2-1312 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY
BEFORE JANUARY 1 OF EACH YEAR ON THE STATUS OF THE FUND AND ON
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHANGES IN LEGISLATION AND POLICY FOR THE
PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the terms of the
initial members of the Children's Trust Fund Advisory Board shall
expire as follows:

(1)  3 members in 199 2;

(2)   3 members in 1991; and

(3)   3 members in 1990.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

State Aid for Police Protection Services - Funding

FOR the purpose of repealing certain wealth adjustments for the
calculation of a certain minimum grant; repealing certain
density requirements for the calculation of a certain
supplemental grant; and generally relating to the
calculation of State aid to local subdivisions and certain
municipalities for police protection services.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
