Ch. 739

(4) In addition to any other provision, the
regulations shall require:

(i) The local department of social services or
the Juvenile Services Agency to develop a plan within 45 days of
placement of a child in a shelter care facility to assess the
child's treatment needs; and

(ii) The plan to be submitted to all parties to
the petition and their counsel.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

(House Bill 1315)

AN ACT concerning

Workers' Compensation - Handicapped Students

FOR the purpose of providing workers' compensation coverage for
certain handicapped students under certain circumstances;
specifying the level of compensation to be provided;
authorizing a county board of education to obtain workers'
compensation coverage for handicapped students under certain
circumstances; exempting certain handicapped students from
the coverage of this Act; and generally relating to workers'
compensation coverage for certain handicapped students.
