ARCHITECTURE SERVICES INCIDENTALLY TO PRACTICING LAND SURVEYING;
(10) AN EMPLOYEE OF AN INDIVIDUAL AUTHORIZED TO
PRACTICE LAND SURVEYING UNDER TITLE 15 OF THIS ARTICLE TO PERFORM
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE SERVICES UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE
INDIVIDUAL AND INCIDENTALLY TO PRACTICING LAND SURVEYING; OR
(11) A NURSERYMAN, GENERAL CONTRACTOR, OR LANDSCAPE
CONTRACTOR TO DESIGN, PLAN, LOCATE, PLANT, OR ARRANGE PLANTINGS
OR OTHER ORNAMENTAL FEATURES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 56, §
279(b), (c), (d), (f), (g), and (h).
In item (1) of this section, the limitation "who is
authorized to practice forestry under Title 7 of this
article" is added for clarity.
In item (2) of this section, the reference to a
"licensed tree expert" practicing "as a tree expert"
is substituted for the former word "arborists", to
conform to NR § 5-415(b).
In item (3) of this section, the specific reference to
"regional planning" is substituted for the former
reference to "planning as customarily done by regional
or urban planners", for clarity.
In item (4) of this section, the former reference to
the practice of "gardeners" is deleted as included in
the reference to engaging in horticulture.
In items (7) through (10) of this section, the
references to an individual "authorized" to practice
engineering or land surveying are substituted for the
former specific references to a "registered
professional engineer" and a "registered professional
land surveyor", to conform to the provisions of Titles
14 and 15 that authorize the practice of engineering
and land surveying by certain individuals who do not
hold a license under the respective Title 14 or 15.
