AN ACT concerning

Juveniles - Informal Adjustment Procedures and Restitution

FOR the purpose of altering the number of persons to receive
notice of a proposed informal adjustment and its terms and
procedures; altering the number of persons whose consent is
necessary before an informal adjustment may proceed and who
cannot be compelled to appear during the informal adjustment
process; requiring the intake officer to authorize or deny
the filing of a petition if the victim, the child, and the
child's parent or guardian do not consent to a proposed
informal adjustment, or if the intake officer believes that
the informal adjustment cannot be completed successfully;
altering a definition of the term "victim" for purposes of
juvenile causes; making certain stylistic and technical
changes; and generally relating to informal adjustment
procedures under the laws relating to juvenile causes.
