AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Height Limitation - Exceptions

FOR the purpose of providing that a certain limitation on the
height of a vehicle or its load does not apply to farm
equipment or to a vehicle transporting from equipment.

FOR the purpose of altering a certain vehicle height limitation
to allow certain vehicles transporting farm equipment to
exceed the limitation under certain circumstances; and
providing certain immunity from liability to the owners of
certain obstructions with which certain vehicles collide.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

24-104.

(a) (1) THIS SUBSECTION DOES NOT APPLY TO:

(I) FARM EQUIPMENT; OR

(II) ANY VEHICLE TRANSPORTING FARM EQUIPMENT.

(2) The EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS
SECTION, THE height of any vehicle and its load may not exceed 13
feet 6 inches.

(b)  Any EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS
SECTION, ANY person responsible for the operation of a vehicle
