AN ACT concerning

Children's Trust Fund - Use of Fees Collected
for Copies of Commemorative Birth Certificates

FOR the purpose of requiring the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene to collect certain additional fees for issuing
copies of birth certificates; requiring the Department to
remit certain additional fees collected to the Office for
Children and Youth for use of the Children's Trust Fund;
requiring the Director of the Office for Children and Youth
to expend certain additional fees in a certain manner;
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to provide, on
request, to certain persons a commemorative birth
certificate; authorizing the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene to set a certain fee; requiring certain funds to be
paid into the Children's Trust Fund for certain purposes;
authorizing the Secretary to adopt certain regulations; and
generally relating to certain certificates and to the
Children's Trust Fund within the Office for Children and
Youth.
