LAWS OF MARYLAND

EACH LICENSEE SHALL DISPLAY THE LICENSE CONSPICUOUSLY IN THE
OFFICE OR PLACE OF BUSINESS OF THE LICENSEE.

(B)  RECORD OF ADDRESS.

(1)  THE BOARD SHALL KEEP A RECORD OF EACH PLACE WHERE
A LICENSEE PROVIDES HEARING AID SERVICES.

(2)  (I) EACH LICENSEE SHALL GIVE THE BOARD WRITTEN
NOTICE OF THE ADDRESS FOR EACH PLACE WHERE THE LICENSEE PROVIDES
OR INTENDS TO PROVIDE HEARING AID SERVICES.

(II) IF A LICENSEE PROVIDES OR INTENDS TO
PROVIDE HEARING AID SERVICES AT MORE THAN 1 PLACE, THE LICENSEE
SHALL SPECIFY ON EACH NOTICE REQUIRED UNDER THIS SUBSECTION THE
PLACE TO WHICH THE BOARD SHOULD MAIL ITS NOTICES AND OTHER
CORRESPONDENCE TO THE LICENSEE.

(C)  MAILING ADDRESS.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS TITLE, ANY NOTICE THAT
THE BOARD GIVES TO A LICENSEE SHALL BE SENT BY FIRST CLASS MAIL
TO THE LICENSEE AT THE ADDRESS THAT THE LICENSEE LAST GAVE TO THE
BOARD UNDER SUBSECTION (B)(2)(I) OF THIS SECTION OR, IF
APPLICABLE, UNDER SUBSECTION (B)(2)(II) OF THIS SECTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a), (b)(1) and (2)(i), and (c)
of this section are new language derived without
substantive change from former Art. 56, § 518 and the
second sentence of § 509.

Subsection (b)(2)(ii) of this section is new language
added to provide expressly for 1 mailing address when
a licensee provides hearing aid services at more than
1 location. Accordingly, in subsection (c) of this
section, the reference to an address given under
subsection (b)(2)(ii) of this section, is added.

In subsection (c) of this section, the reference to
"first class mail" is added for emphasis.

8-312. DENIALS, REPRIMANDS, SUSPENSIONS, AND REVOCATIONS --
GROUNDS.

SUBJECT TO THE HEARING PROVISIONS OF § 8-313 OF THIS
SUBTITLE, THE BOARD MAY DENY A LICENSE TO ANY APPLICANT,
REPRIMAND ANY LICENSEE, OR SUSPEND OR REVOKE A LICENSE IF THE
APPLICANT OR LICENSEE:
