AN ACT concerning

Phragmites Management and Control

FOR the purpose of specifying that phragmites may be a public and
common nuisance; allowing certain persons to apply to the
Secretary of Natural Resources for certain help in the
management and control of the spread of phragmites;
authorizing the Secretary of Natural Resources to assist in
the management and control of the spread of phragmites under
certain conditions; requiring the Secretary of Natural
Resources to adopt certain regulations; requiring the
securing of Natural Resources to study the feasibility of
establishing a cost sharing program for certain purposes
under this Act; requiring the Department of Natural
Resources to report certain information to the General
Assembly; providing for the use of certain funds; requiring
the Secretary of Natural Resources and the Secretary of
Transportation to control the spread of phragmites on
certain lands; and generally relating to the management and
control of phragmites in this State.
