(2)  PAYS TO THE BOARD A RENEWAL FEE OF $100; AND

(3)  SUBMITS TO THE BOARD:

(I)  A RENEWAL APPLICATION ON THE FORM THAT THE
BOARD PROVIDES; AND

(II)  SATISFACTORY EVIDENCE OF COMPLIANCE WITH
THE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS SET UNDER THIS SECTION FOR
LICENSE RENEWAL.

(D)  CONTINUING EDUCATION.

(1)  THE BOARD MAY NOT RENEW A LICENSE UNLESS THE
LICENSEE MEETS THE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
SUBSECTION.

(2)  WITHIN EACH 2-YEAR TERM OF A LICENSE, A LICENSEE
SHALL COMPLETE SUCCESSFULLY AT LEAST 20 HOURS OF INSTRUCTION
PROVIDED THROUGH 1 OR MORE COURSES THAT THE BOARD APPROVES.

(3)  FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SUBSECTION, THE BOARD MAY
APPROVE ONLY A COURSE OF INSTRUCTION THAT THE BOARD FINDS TO BE:

(I)  RELATED TO PROVIDING HEARING AID SERVICES;
AND

(II)  TAUGHT BY A QUALIFIED TEACHER.

(E)  ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE BOARD SHALL RENEW THE LICENSE OF EACH LICENSEE WHO MEETS
THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.

(F)  GRACE PERIOD.

THE BOARD SHALL REINSTATE THE LICENSE OF AN INDIVIDUAL WHO
HAS FAILED TO RENEW THE LICENSE FOR ANY REASON IF THE INDIVIDUAL:

(1)  APPLIES FOR REINSTATEMENT WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER
THE LICENSE EXPIRES;

(2)  MEETS THE RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION;
AND

(3)  PAYS TO THE BOARD A REINSTATEMENT FEE OF $10, IN
ADDITION TO THE RENEWAL FEE REQUIRED UNDER SUBSECTION (C) OF THIS
SECTION.
