Ch. 3

LAWS OF MARYLAND

(2)  KEEP A RECORD OF ITS PROCEEDINGS; AND

(3)  KEEP A LIST OF ALL LICENSED CERTIFIED PUBLIC
ACCOUNTANTS AND PERMIT HOLDERS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as Art. 75A,
§ 2-207.

In subsection (b)(3) of this section, the reference to
"permit holders" is added to correct a seemingly
unintended gap in the former law, which provided 2
forms of authorization to practice -- i.e., a license
or a permit -- but provided for a roster only of
licensees.

As to subsection (b)(3) of this section and the
reference to "licensed certified public accountants",
the addition of § 2-101(d) of this title limits the
list to individuals who are licensed by this State.
This limitation seems consistent with the purpose of
subsection (b)(3) of this section.

The only other changes are in style.

Defined terms: "Board" § 2-101

"Licensed certified public accountant" § 2-101

"Permit" § 2-101

"Practice certified public accountancy" § 2-101

2-208. DISPOSITION OF MONEY.

THE BOARD SHALL PAY ALL MONEY COLLECTED1 UNDER THIS TITLE
INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as Art. 75A,
§ 2-208.

The only changes are in style.

Defined term: "Board" § 2-101

2-209. JUDICIAL REVIEW.

ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY A FINAL DECISION OF THE BOARD IN A
CONTESTED CASE, AS DEFINED IN § 10-201 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT
ARTICLE, MAY TAKE AN APPEAL AS ALLOWED IN §§ 10-215 AND 10-216 OF
THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly appeared as Art. 75A,
§ 2-318.
