(21)  Has had a license to practice podiatry denied,
suspended, or revoked in any other state for an act that would be
grounds for disciplinary action under this section; [or]

(22)  Violates any rules or regulations adopted by the
Board[.]; OR

(23)  FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF § 12-102
OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

AN ACT concerning

Insurance Agents and Brokers Continuing Education - Definitions

FOR the purpose of altering the termination date for certain
provisions of law relating to continuing education
requirements and renewal of certificates of qualification
for insurance agents and brokers; clarifying that insurance
agents and brokers are required to complete certain
continuing education requirements as a condition of a
certificate renewal; permitting an insurance agent or broker
to receive certain portions of the continuing education
requirement from certain courses offered by certain persons;
altering a certain definition clarifying the definition of
agent; providing for the termination of certain portions of
this Act and of another Act; requiring the Insurance
Commissioner to permit an insurance agent who fails to meet
the continuing education requirement by a certain date to
have a certain additional period of time to meet the
requirement; and generally relating to the definition of
agent and continuing education requirements for insurance
agents and brokers.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
