Ch. 3
LAWS OF MARYLAND
(B) REVOKED, SUSPENDED, OR EXPIRED LICENSE.
WHILE THE LICENSE OF AN INDIVIDUAL IS SUSPENDED, REVOKED, OR
EXPIRED, A PERSON MAY NOT ENDORSE A DOCUMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER §
7-402 OF THIS TITLE, WITH THE NAME, SEAL, OR REGISTRATION NUMBER
OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the fifth sentence
and, as it prohibited the use of an expired or revoked
seal, the second clause of the fourth sentence of
former Art. 56, § 313.
In subsection (b) of this section, the prohibition
against endorsing documents with the "seal" of an
individual whose license is invalid is added to
conform to the referenced § 7-402 of this title. This
addition conforms to corresponding sections in other
titles of this article that prohibit use of the
licensee's seal when the license is revoked (see,
e.g., § 14-504), and reflects that a prohibition
against use of the seal when an individual's license
is revoked is clearly implied in former Art. 56, §
313.
Defined terms: "License" § 7-101
"Licensed forester" § 7-101 "Person" § 1-101
"Responsible charge" § 7-101
7-505. GIVING FALSE INFORMATION TO BOARD.
A PERSON MAY NOT GIVE FALSE INFORMATION TO THE BOARD IN AN
ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN A LICENSE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 56, § 318,
as that section related to the prohibition against
false information.
The reference to "false information" is substituted
for the former reference to "false or forged
evidence", for clarity.
Defined terms: "Board" § 7-101
"License" § 7-101 "Person" § 1-101
7-506. PENALTIES.
A PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THIS TITLE IS GUILTY
OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT
EXCEEDING $500.
