7-402. ENDORSEMENT OF DOCUMENTS.

BEFORE A LICENSED FORESTER ISSUES TO ANY PERSON ANY PLAN,
MAP, SPECIFICATION, OR REPORT, THE LICENSED FORESTER WHO PREPARED
OR APPROVED THE DOCUMENT SHALL ENDORSE ON THE DOCUMENT THE
LICENSED FORESTER'S:

(1)  NAME;

(2)  REGISTRATION NUMBER; AND

(3)  SEAL.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first clause of
the fourth sentence of former Art. 56, § 313.

The reference to a document "approved" by a licensed

forester is added to conform to § 7-504(b) of this

title, which prohibits endorsement of a document

unless prepared by or "under the responsible charge"
of the endorser.

SUBTITLE 5. PROHIBITED ACTS; PENALTIES.

7-501. PRACTICING WITHOUT LICENSE.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS TITLE, A PERSON MAY NOT
PRACTICE, ATTEMPT TO PRACTICE, OR OFFER TO PRACTICE FORESTRY IN
THE STATE UNLESS LICENSED BY THE BOARD.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 56, §§
299(b) and 318, as those sections prohibited
practicing forestry without a license.

The reference to "attempt" to practice is added to
conform to similar provisions governing other
regulated occupations in the Code. See, e.g., HO §
8-401, as to nursing home administrators, and HO §
15-505, as to podiatrists.

The former prohibition against attempted use of an
"expired or revoked" license is deleted as
