Ch. 562                                       LAWS OF MARYLAND

(a) [Except for the fees specifically set by this title,
the] THE Board may set reasonable fees for the issuance and
renewal of licenses and its other services.

13-311.

(c)  Before the license expires, the licensee periodically
may renew it for an additional 2-year term, if the licensee:

(1)  Otherwise is entitled to be licensed;

(2)  Pays to the Board a renewal fee [of $50, except
that a physical therapist assistant shall pay a renewal fee of
$20] SET BY THE BOARD; and

(3)  Submits to the Board:

(i) A renewal application on the form that the
Board requires; and

(ii) Satisfactory evidence of compliance with
the other qualifications set under this title for license
renewal.

13-313.

(d)  The Board may:

(1)  Extend a temporary license to complete a
preceptorship; or

(2)  Renew a temporary license once for an additional
term under subsection (c) of this section, if the holder:

(i) Otherwise meets the requirements of this
section;

(ii) Submits a renewal application to the Board
on the form that the Board requires; and

(iii) Pays to the Board a temporary license
renewal fee [of $25] SET BY THE BOARD.
