relatives who are 65 years of age or older. The support program
shall include financial assistance.

(b)  In the performance of its responsibilities, the
Interagency Committee on Aging Services shall:

(1)  Provide for the maximum use of senior centers for
intake of new cases;

(2)  Coordinate efforts with other agencies in order
to avoid duplication of efforts;

(3)  Provide for the use of State funds to supplement
the resources of the elderly family member; and

(4)  Seek funds from local and federal sources.

(c)  The Interagency Committee on Aging Services shall
establish -eligibility requirements, implementation regulations,
and accountability procedures.]

(a)  The Interagency Committee on Aging Services shall
establish and coordinate a program to provide [a] single [point]
POINTS of entry [in] WITHIN each designated planning and service
area throughout the State, OPERATED BY THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING,
to assess the needs of elderly persons AND THEIR CARE GIVERS and
provide appropriate services.

(b)  The Office on Aging shall supervise the program for the
Interagency Committee.

(c)  The following services shall be provided through [the]
A single point of entry:

(1)  Current information on available programs,
services, or benefits;

(2)  Determination of the service needs of each
elderly person who requests service;

(3)  Processing of requests for service from elderly
persons;

(4)  Access, through widely publicized local outreach
facilities and communications systems, to AVAILABLE PUBLIC AND
PRIVATE programs and services for the elderly, including:

(i) Transportation services;

(ii) Health and nutrition services;
