AN ACT concerning

Energy Overcharge Restitution Fund

FOR the purpose of repealing certain laws relating to the Energy
Overcharge Restitution Trust Fund; creating the Energy
Overcharge Restitution Fund in the State Finance and
Procurement Article; providing for the source of funds,
uses, priorities and expenditures, disbursements, and
reversions of money in the Fund; providing that certain
budget amendments be submitted to and approved by the
Legislative Policy Committee; requiring the Secretary of
Budget and Fiscal Planning or certain designees to
administer the Fund; making this Act subject to certain
contingencies; and generally relating to the Energy
Overcharge Restitution Fund.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 7-301 through 7-308, inclusive, and the
subtitle "Subtitle 3. Energy Overcharge Restitution Trust Fund"
of Article 83B - Department of Housing and Community Development
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.
