8-108.
(a) Upon the expiration of [six months from the date of the
first appointment of a personal representative NINE MONTHS FROM
THE DATE OF THE DECEDENT'S DEATH, the personal representative
shall pay the claims allowed against the estate in the order of
priority prescribed in § 8-105. The court may extend the
[six-month period] TIME FOR PAYMENT for good cause shown. A
person with a valid unbarred claim or with a valid unbarred
judgment who has not been paid may petition the court for an
order directing the personal representative to pay the claim to
The extent that funds of the estate are available for payment.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an
emergency measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public health and safety, has been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect
from the date it is enacted.

Maryland Small Business Development Center Program
FOR the purpose of altering the name of the Maryland Small
Business Extension Service Program to the Maryland Small
Business Development Center Program; revising the regions of
the State applicable to the Program; authorizing a primary
or secondary contractor to serve as a contractor under the
Small Business Development Center contractor; authorizing
secondary contractors to create a satellite center; making
the effect of a provision of this Act contingent on a
