AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis -
Beer and Wine Tasting License

FOR the purpose of repealing a certain Class beer and wine
tasting license and authorizing the Board of License
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County and the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Annapolis to issue a beer and wine
on-premises tasting (BWT) license; requiring that the
license be issued only to holders of certain Class A
alcoholic beverages licenses; providing for the scope of the
license; establishing an annual license fee; exempting the
license from certain restrictions; and generally relating to
a beer and wine on-premises tasting (BWT) license in Anne
Arundel County and in the City of Annapolis.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) 28(j) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of
Maryland read as follows:

(J) (1) IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE
COMMISSIONERS MAY ISSUE A BEER AND WINE ON-PREMISES TASTING (BWT)
